The KWB 028560 round dowels are ribbed beechwood pins with a 6 mm diameter and 30 mm length, chamfered for easier insertion. Designed for furniture assembly and general woodworking, these wooden dowels create accurate, reliable joints in various timber and panel connections.

Advantages

Produced from beechwood, these dowels offer natural strength and dimensional stability. The ribbed surface improves glue distribution and grip inside drilled holes, while the chamfered ends simplify alignment and insertion. Their standard 6 mm diameter and 30 mm length suit common joinery applications.

How to use

Drill matching 6 mm holes at the joining surfaces, apply suitable wood glue into the hole and on the dowel, then insert the chamfered dowel and press the parts together until the glue sets. Ensure correct alignment and clamp if necessary until the adhesive cures.

Recommendations

For best results, use with a matching 6 mm drill bit, clean drilled holes of dust, and allow recommended glue curing time. Store dowels in a dry environment to prevent swelling or distortion.
