Pystykisko Triton RAX-VL-X42-X1 42U harmaa

The Triton Vertical Rail RAX-VL-X42-X1 42U Grey is a single vertical mounting rail engineered to support equipment in standard 19" racks with a 42U capacity. Designed for use in data centres, server rooms and network cabinets, the rail provides a stable attachment point for servers, switches and other rack-mounted devices. The grey finish offers a neutral aesthetic while protecting the surface from wear and corrosion during installation and regular maintenance.

Advantages

This vertical rail delivers reliable load-bearing performance and straightforward compatibility with common rack layouts. Its construction ensures stable support for mounted equipment, while the neutral grey finish reduces visual distraction in technical environments. The rail is designed for easy mounting and alignment to existing rack frames, minimising installation time and the need for specialised tools.

Suitable for

• Data centre server cabinets and network racks
• Telecommunications equipment mounting
• IT rooms and machine room installations
• Retrofit and upgrades of existing rack systems

Key specifications

• Rack unit capacity: 42U vertical rail
• Mounting standard: compatible with 19-inch rack systems
• Finish: grey protective coating
• Function: single vertical support rail for rack-mounted equipment
• Compatibility: suitable for servers, switches and standard 19" rack accessories

How to use

Secure the vertical rail to the rack frame according to rack manufacturer guidelines, aligning the rail with existing mounting holes and ensuring correct orientation for U-spacing. Use appropriate fasteners to attach the rail to the cabinet or frame, checking that it is level and firmly seated before installing equipment. Mount devices onto the rail using compatible cage nuts, screws or mounting brackets, and verify load distribution across both rails if installing heavy equipment.

Recommendations

For stable performance, combine this vertical rail with a corresponding opposite rail to distribute weight evenly and follow rack load limits. Use corrosion-resistant fasteners in humid environments and verify compatibility with the specific rack frame model before installation.
