Pysyvä merkki Edding 8400 CD/DVD/BD luotikärki musta sininen vihreä punainen

The Edding 8400 permanent marker is designed specifically for marking optical media such as CDs, DVDs and BDs. Featuring a bullet tip and available in black, blue, green and red, this marker produces clear, durable lines that resist smudging and fading on glossy disc surfaces. The plastic housing offers a comfortable grip and balanced weight, facilitating precise writing and quick identification of recorded media.

Advantages

The bullet tip provides consistent line width suitable for text and simple symbols while minimizing skipping on smooth surfaces. The ink formulation dries quickly on non-porous disc coatings and resists rubbing and light exposure, maintaining legibility over time. The plastic barrel ensures a stable hold during extended labeling tasks and protects the tip when capped, preventing premature drying.

Key specifications

• Tip type: bullet tip for consistent line width
• Ink properties: permanent, quick-drying on non-porous surfaces
• Available colors: black, blue, green, red
• Barrel material: plastic housing for comfortable grip
• Suitable surfaces: coated optical discs (CD, DVD, BD)

How to use

Remove the cap and hold the marker at a slight angle to the disc surface for best control. Apply gentle, even pressure while writing to avoid excess ink pooling; allow the ink to dry for a few seconds before stacking or handling discs. Replace the cap securely after use to protect the tip and preserve ink performance. For best results, test the marker on an unused edge of a disc or a sample disc before writing on important media.

Recommendations

Store the marker horizontally when not in use to maintain consistent ink flow. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. If the marker has not been used for an extended period, shake gently (if applicable) and depress the tip briefly on scrap material to re-establish ink flow before marking important discs.
