Rakennussarja COBI F-14 Tomcat

The COBI F-14 Tomcat building set contains 715 pieces and reproduces the iconic silhouette and variable-geometry wings of the Grumman F-14 Tomcat at a collector-friendly scale. Designed for builders aged 7 and up, this model offers an engaging assembly experience that highlights the aircraft's twin-seat cockpit, movable wing sweep, and realistic underwing weapon stations. The set is produced by Cobi and targets collectors, modelers and aviation fans who appreciate historically inspired military aircraft models and licensed film liveries.

Advantages

The set combines a high piece count with clear assembly logic to support skill development in fine motor coordination and spatial reasoning. Movable elements such as sweep-back wings and rotating wheels increase interactivity and display options. Printed elements reproduce authentic markings and a film-accurate paint scheme to provide a faithful visual result without requiring custom painting.

How to use

Follow the printed instruction booklet included in the box to assemble the COBI F-14 Tomcat step by step. Begin by sorting pieces by shape and color, build sub-assemblies such as fuselage halves and wings, then connect moving mechanisms and landing gear. Place the two figures into the cockpit after securing canopy elements. Once assembly is complete, mount the model on the included display stand and attach the name plaque.

Recommendations

The model is intended for display and light handling; avoid rough play, exposure to moisture, and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve printed decorations. Small parts present a choking hazard—keep out of reach of children under the recommended age.
