RCA-liitinadapteri ShiverPeaks 3×RCA 4-pin Hosiden-pistokkeeseen

The ShiverPeaks RCA Coupling Adapter 3×RCA to 4‑pin Hosiden is an inline passive adapter designed to join three RCA connectors (two audio, one video) to a single 4‑pin Hosiden socket. It enables signal continuity between legacy composite/stereo RCA sources and devices or cabling that use a 4‑pin Hosiden interface. The adapter is compact and straightforward, intended for use in installations, repairs, and simple cabling extensions where passive coupling is sufficient.

Advantages

This coupling adapter provides a compact and reliable passive connection without the need for power or active electronics. It preserves signal routing for composite video and stereo audio channels, supports easy inline installation, and reduces the need to reterminate cables or replace existing connectors. The adapter is suitable for tight spaces and simple setups where a direct mechanical coupling between RCA plugs and a 4‑pin Hosiden socket is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy composite video and stereo RCA sources to a device with a 4‑pin Hosiden input
• Extending or joining existing RCA cabling to equipment that uses a Hosiden connector
• Repairing or replacing a damaged inline coupling without re-crimping or soldering
• Temporary connections during testing, installation, or AV setup adjustments

Key specifications

• Connector A: 3× female RCA (two for audio, one for composite video)
• Connector B: female 4‑pin Hosiden socket
• Signal type: passive analog audio (stereo) and composite video
• Construction: inline coupling adapter with molded housing
• Application environment: indoor AV installations, repairs, cabling extensions

How to use

Insert the three RCA male plugs from the source or cable into the corresponding female RCA sockets on the adapter, matching left/right audio and composite video positions. Plug the device or cable with the 4‑pin Hosiden male connector into the adapter's Hosiden socket until it seats securely. Ensure connections are fully engaged to maintain signal continuity. No power or configuration is required; the adapter functions passively as a mechanical and electrical coupling.

Recommendations

For best results, use clean, undamaged RCA plugs and a correctly wired 4‑pin Hosiden connector. Avoid using the adapter in environments with excessive moisture or mechanical strain on the cables. If longer cable runs or signal degradation are observed, consider using shielded cables or an active signal converter appropriate for the signal type.
