Reikäsaha KWB 499145 — 45 mm leikkuuhalkaisija

Hole saw KWB 499145 — 45 mm cutting diameter is a compact cutting tool designed for drilling clean circular holes in wood, plastic and similar materials. Intended for use with a compatible arbor and drill, this 45 mm hole saw delivers precise round cuts for installations such as plumbing, electrical fixtures and ducting. Its size and tooth geometry make it suitable for handheld drills and on-site work where a neat aperture is required quickly and reliably.

Advantages

This 45 mm hole saw provides accurate circular cuts with minimal tear-out when used correctly. The compact design reduces wobble on smaller cordless and corded drills, improving control during on-site operations. Constructed to cut through common building materials like wood and plastics, it balances cutting speed with finish quality to produce clean edges suitable for flush fittings. Compatibility with standard arbors enables quick tool changes and straightforward setup.

How to use

Fit the hole saw to a compatible arbor and secure the arbor in the drill chuck. Mark the center of the desired hole and, if available, use the pilot bit to position the saw. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed moderately while maintaining firm, even pressure. Withdraw the saw periodically to clear chips and prevent clogging. After cutting, smooth the edge if required using sandpaper or a file.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. For best results, secure workpieces firmly and avoid excessive feed force; allow the tool to do the cutting. When working with plastics, use reduced speed to prevent melting. Ensure the arbor and pilot bit are compatible and in good condition before use.
