Reikäsaha KWB 499439 10,3 cm yksittäinen keramiikalle betonille muoville

The KWB 499439 hole saw with a 10.3 cm diameter is a single-piece cutting tool with a precision-formed body coated in tungsten carbide grit and high-temperature brazed for durability. It is intended for drilling in aerated concrete blocks, masonry, tiles, ceramics, natural stone, lightweight building materials, plasterboard and various plastics, making it suitable for installation work such as fitting switches, sockets and pipes.

Advantages

The tungsten carbide grit coating and high-temperature brazing provide enhanced wear resistance and extended tool life when cutting abrasive and hard materials. The precision-formed body ensures stable cutting performance and consistent hole dimensions. The tool’s design allows use across a range of building materials without the need for multiple specialised saws.

How to use

Mount the hole saw on a compatible arbor and secure it to the drill according to the arbor manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the intended drilling position and start at low speed to create a guide groove, then increase speed and apply steady, even pressure. For hard or abrasive materials use intermittent drilling and, if applicable, cooling or lubrication to reduce heat. After cutting, remove debris and inspect the hole for burrs; finish as needed.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection) and select a drill with sufficient power and correct arbor fit. For brittle materials (tiles, ceramics, natural stone) consider using masking tape over the cut area to reduce chipping; for reinforced concrete avoid excessive pressure and use slower speeds.
