Reititin DrayTek Vigor 2765ax Dual Band Wi-Fi 6

The DrayTek Vigor 2765ax Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 router delivers Wi‑Fi 6 performance for home and small office networks. Designed to handle multiple concurrent devices, it offers dual‑band wireless connectivity, enhanced throughput, and improved range compared with previous Wi‑Fi generations. The router includes integrated security features, parental controls and an intuitive web interface for configuration and monitoring.

Advantages

The Vigor 2765ax supports the latest Wi‑Fi 6 standard to provide higher data rates, lower latency and better efficiency for many connected devices. Dual‑band operation reduces interference by separating 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz traffic, while built‑in security functions protect the network from common threats. The device is designed for straightforward setup and daily management, offering stable wireless and wired connectivity suitable for streaming, video calls and online gaming.

Suitable for

• Home networks with multiple smartphones, tablets and smart home devices
• Small office environments requiring reliable Wi‑Fi and basic network security
• Streaming 4K video and online gaming with reduced latency
• Video conferencing and remote work setups

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) compatible with previous generations
• Dual‑band operation: simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios
• Multiple device support with MU‑MIMO and OFDMA efficiency
• Security: integrated firewall, WPA3/WPA2 wireless security and VPN support
• Management: web‑based interface and configuration tools
• Ports: multiple Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and WAN connectivity (wired ports for network devices)
• Quality of Service (QoS) features for traffic prioritization

How to use

Connect the router to your internet modem using the WAN port and power it on. Use the web interface to run the initial setup wizard: configure your internet connection type, set Wi‑Fi network names and secure passwords, and enable recommended security settings. Add devices to the chosen 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network depending on range and speed needs. Use the management pages to monitor traffic, adjust QoS rules, and configure VPN or parental controls as required.

Recommendations

Place the router in a central elevated location to maximize coverage and avoid physical obstructions. For best performance with high‑bandwidth applications, connect stationary devices by Ethernet and assign QoS priority to streaming or conferencing traffic. Keep the router firmware up to date and enable WPA3 or the highest available encryption for wireless security.
