The Rexel QS REX823 paper shredder shreds up to 8 sheets (80 g/m²) at once into P-4 (4 x 40 mm) cross-cut particles. It has a 23-litre bin with a capacity equivalent to approximately 240 A4 sheets, a working width of 220 mm and a compact footprint (335 mm W x 240 mm D x 460 mm H). The unit operates at around 60 dB and supports destruction of paper and credit cards for secure disposal in office environments.

Advantages

Cross-cut shredding to P-4 (4 x 40 mm) provides a balance of security and bin capacity. The shredder handles up to 8 sheets per pass and accepts credit cards, while the 23 L bin reduces the frequency of emptying. Its compact size and 60 dB operating noise make it suitable for typical office spaces. The unit is lightweight (6.66 kg) and finished in black.

Open the feed slot and insert up to 8 sheets of uncreased A4 paper (80 g/m²) or a single credit card per the manufacturer’s guidance. Allow the machine to complete the cycle before adding more material. Empty the 23 L bin when prompted by reduced capacity or per routine maintenance. Follow any safety labels and disconnect the unit before clearing jams.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the specified sheet capacity and avoid feeding thick stacks, cardboard, or non-approved materials. Regularly empty the bin to maintain performance and consult the user manual for cleaning, jam clearing and safe handling instructions.
