RJ-45 kaapeliliitin ShiverPeaks BS71220-8W

The ShiverPeaks BS71220-8W is a female-to-female RJ-45 wire connector in white designed to join two Ethernet cables quickly and securely. It enables straightforward extension or repair of network cables without re-terminating connectors, maintaining continuity for data and voice transmissions. The compact inline body houses the eight-contact interface required for standard RJ-45 terminations and is supplied as a single unit for flexible use in home, office, or field environments.

Advantages

This white female/female RJ-45 connector provides a simple method for connecting two CAT5e/CAT6-compatible cables while preserving the eight-conductor wiring scheme. Its molded housing offers mechanical protection for the contacts and a stable connection that resists accidental disconnection. The connector's compact dimensions and neutral color make it unobtrusive in visible installations, and being sold individually allows purchasing only the quantity required for specific tasks.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet cables without re-crimping
• Repairing damaged RJ-45 cable ends
• Temporary network connections during setup or testing
• Small office and home networking projects

Key specifications

• Connector type: female-to-female RJ-45 inline coupler
• Color: white
• Contact configuration: 8-position / 8-contact (8P8C) compatible
• Supports standard Ethernet wiring schemes (T568A/T568B)
• Form factor: compact inline coupler for patch cables
• Quantity: single unit

How to use

To use the connector, insert the RJ-45 plug of one Ethernet cable into one end until it clicks, then insert the second cable into the opposite end in the same way. Verify that both plugs latch securely and that the connection provides link/activity on the network devices. For optimal signal integrity, use cables with compatible category ratings and ensure wiring follows the same color standard at both ends.

Recommendations

Use the connector indoors or in protected environments to avoid exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures. For permanent or high-performance installations, consider using factory-terminated patch panels or single-piece cables rated for the required category to minimize potential signal loss.
