How to use

Install the latch into a recessed cutout on the case or cabinet front so the butterfly plate sits flush with the surface. Align the striker plate or catch on the mating part to match the 7 mm engagement depth, then secure both components with appropriate fasteners through the mounting holes. To operate, rotate or flip the butterfly handle to engage or release the latch; ensure that the catch fully seats for a reliable closure. Periodically check fasteners and alignment and tighten as necessary to maintain proper engagement.

Recommendations

For best results, use corrosion-resistant fasteners and, in outdoor or humid environments, apply light lubricant to moving parts to reduce wear. Verify compatibility with panel thickness and cutout dimensions before installation and test the closed fit under typical transport conditions.
