Ruuvauskärki Metabo Phillips PH2, pituus 146 mm

Metabo Screwdriver Bit Phillips PH2, Length 146 mm is a single-purpose driving bit engineered for Phillips-head screws. The 146 mm length increases access to recessed or hard-to-reach fasteners while maintaining the standard PH2 tip geometry for compatibility with common screws. The bit is suitable for both manual drivers and power tools that accept replaceable bits, offering controlled engagement and repeatable performance in light-to-medium assembly, maintenance and repair work.

Advantages

The bit provides precise tip geometry for reliable seating in PH2 screws, reducing cam-out and slippage under normal torque. Its extended 146 mm length improves reach without requiring adapter extensions, enabling work in deeper recesses or behind obstacles. Manufactured by a recognized brand, the bit is designed for consistent fit with standard bit holders and quick-change chucks. The solid construction supports repeated insertions and removals while preserving the driving profile.

Suitable for

• Driving and removing Phillips PH2 screws in construction and carpentry
• Assembly of furniture and fixtures where extended reach is needed
• Maintenance and repair tasks on appliances, electronics enclosures, and machinery
• Use with manual screwdrivers, bit-holding extensions, and compatible power screwdrivers or impact drivers

Key specifications

• Tip type: Phillips PH2 standard geometry
• Overall length: 146 mm
• Compatibility: fits standard 1/4" hex bit holders and quick-change chucks
• Intended use: manual and powered screw driving operations
• Material and finish: hardened steel construction for wear resistance

How to use

Insert the bit into a compatible 1/4" hex bit holder, quick-change chuck or the bit socket of your manual screwdriver. Ensure the bit seats securely before applying torque. Select an appropriate driving speed and torque setting on power tools to match screw size and material. Use steady pressure and keep the driver aligned with the screw axis to minimize slipping and cam-out. After use, store the bit in a bit holder or toolbox to protect the tip from damage.

Recommendations

For best results, use the 146 mm length when additional reach is required; switch to a shorter bit when accessible to reduce bending and stress. Match driving speed and torque to the screw and base material, and replace the bit once tip wear affects engagement quality.
