Ruuvi cimco 191238 kuitulevyille, sinkitty teräs, 60 mm pituus, 5 mm kierteen halkaisija, 1 kpl

Single cimco screw model 191238 is a galvanized steel fastener designed specifically for use with fibreboard panels. With a length of 60 mm and a 5 mm thread diameter, this screw provides secure anchoring in fibreboard and similar engineered wood materials. The corrosion-resistant galvanised coating increases durability in interior environments and helps maintain reliable fixation over time.

Advantages

The galvanized steel construction offers improved resistance to rust compared with untreated fasteners, while the 60 mm length and 5 mm thread diameter deliver strong holding power in fibreboard. Supplied as a single piece, the screw is suitable for precise, small-quantity projects or for replacement use. Its thread profile and geometry are matched to provide consistent engagement in engineered wood boards without excessive splitting when used correctly.

How to use

Pre-drill a pilot hole appropriate for a 5 mm diameter screw to reduce the risk of splitting the fibreboard; the pilot hole diameter should be slightly smaller than the screw core diameter. Position the screw perpendicular to the panel surface and drive with a suitable screwdriver or power tool at moderate speed until the head is flush or seated as required. Avoid over-tightening to prevent crushing the fibreboard surface or stripping the thread engagement. For repeated assemblies, check the condition of the mating material and replace damaged panels or fixings as needed.

Recommendations

Use in dry, interior environments for optimal corrosion performance. When fastening near edges, increase pilot hole size slightly or use clamps to prevent board splitting. For heavy loads or structural applications, consider additional mechanical reinforcement or consult product load tables for suitable fastener spacing.
