Ruuvimeisselibitti Wera 05060051001

The Wera 05060051001 screwdriver bit is a high-quality Torx BO (security Torx with pin) bit designed for recessed TORX screws with a center pin. It measures 89 mm in length, has a 1/4" (25.4 / 4 mm) hexagonal shank compatible with standard 1/4" holders (DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3), and is manufactured in the Czech Republic. The bit is intended for precise engagement with Torx BO drive profiles and offers durability for repeated use.

Advantages

This Torx BO bit provides accurate fitment to security TORX screws thanks to the matching bore profile for the center pin, reducing cam‑out and wear. The 1/4" hex shank ensures compatibility with a wide range of bit holders and screwdrivers. Its length (89 mm) gives improved reach for recessed or hard‑to‑access fasteners while the heat‑treated construction offers good toughness and long service life.

Suitable for

• Removing and installing security Torx (BO) screws with a center pin
• Automotive and motorcycle maintenance where tamper‑resistant fasteners are used
• Electronics and appliance repair requiring precision bit engagement
• Workshop and professional tool kits that include 1/4" holders

How to use

Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the Wera bit into a compatible bit holder or screwdriver. Align the Torx BO tip with the screw so the center pin fits into the mating bore of the bit, then apply steady torque to turn the screw. Use controlled force to avoid damaging the screw head; for tight fasteners, use an appropriately rated driver or torque control tool.

Recommendations

Use the Wera Torx BO bit only with matching BO (pinned) Torx screws. Do not use excessive impact on the bit; avoid using it in unsuitable impact drivers unless the bit and driver are rated for such use. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion and inspect the tip periodically for wear to ensure reliable engagement.
