Screwdriver wiha Cacciavite Torx SOFTFINISH ELEC slimFix VDE TR 10 (model 3251TR010) is an insulated Torx screwdriver designed for professional electrical work. The tool features a slimFix insulated shaft that allows access in confined and recessed areas while providing VDE-tested protection for use on live electrical systems up to specified voltage ratings. The SOFTFINISH ergonomic handle gives tactile control and reduces hand fatigue during repetitive fastening tasks. This electrician's Torx screwdriver is intended for installation, maintenance and repair where insulated, precise Torx engagement is required.

Advantages

The slim insulated shaft enables work in narrow spaces and recessed fasteners without compromising safety. The VDE-tested insulation provides reliable dielectric protection for tasks on electrical installations. The SOFTFINISH handle combines a non-slip surface with ergonomic shaping for improved grip and controlled torque transfer. The Torx tip is manufactured to fit the fastener recess closely, reducing cam-out and wear on both screw and tool.

How to use

Verify the tool's insulation integrity before each use and inspect for visible damage. Select the Torx TR10 screwdriver and position the tip squarely into the fastener recess to ensure a secure fit. Apply steady axial pressure and turn with controlled wrist motion to tighten or loosen the fastener. For work on live or potentially live circuits, ensure the VDE-rated insulation is appropriate for the system voltage and follow all applicable safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and use of personal protective equipment.

Recommendations

Store the insulated screwdriver separately from non-insulated tools to avoid accidental damage to the insulating layer. Do not use the tool if insulation is cracked, nicked, or otherwise compromised. Clean the handle and shaft after use and avoid exposing the insulation to solvents or high temperatures. Use the correct Torx size to minimize wear on both fastener and tool.
