S/CONN 6 m TAE-N – RJ 11 musta läpinäkyvä ShiverPeaks

The S/CONN 6m TAE-N – RJ 11 Black Transparent ShiverPeaks cable is a 6-metre telephone lead with a TAE-N plug on one end and an RJ11 plug on the other. Designed for reliable analogue voice and low-speed data connections, the cable supports standard telephone sets, fax machines and basic modem connections. Its black transparent jacket provides a discreet, modern appearance while remaining flexible enough for simple routing in home and office environments.

Advantages

This 6m TAE-N to RJ11 cable combines compatibility with common European TAE wall sockets and internationally used RJ11 telephone interfaces, reducing the need for adapters. The flexible outer sheath resists everyday bending and wear, while the length gives freedom of placement for devices without strain on plugs. The cable’s straightforward construction ensures consistent contact and clear voice transmission over analogue lines.

Suitable for

• Connecting a telephone set to a TAE-N wall socket
• Linking fax machines or basic modems to telephone lines
• Extending the reach between wall outlet and device in home offices
• Temporary setups or replacements where a 6 m lead is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 6 metres
• Connector A: TAE‑N plug
• Connector B: RJ11 plug (6/2 configuration)
• Conductor configuration: two conductors for analogue voice/data
• Outer jacket: black transparent, flexible PVC
• Intended signal type: analogue telephone and low-speed data

How to use

Insert the TAE‑N plug into the corresponding TAE wall socket until it seats securely. Connect the RJ11 plug to the telephone, fax or modem port on the device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to avoid intermittent contact. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching; leave slack near connection points to reduce strain. If replacing an existing lead, disconnect power to devices if recommended by the device manufacturer before swapping cables.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment which may introduce interference. Store and route the cable without sharp kinks and replace it if the jacket becomes damaged; damaged insulation can affect signal quality. Use this cable for analogue voice and basic data connections only—for digital ISDN or broadband Ethernet use appropriate cables and connectors.
