S/PDIF TOSLINK -kytkin DeLOCK 63395

The DeLOCK S/PDIF TOSLINK Switch 63395 lets you connect up to three optical audio sources to a single TOSLINK output, simplifying management of multiple devices in a home audio or home theater setup. The compact black unit is USB powered and includes an infrared remote control for convenient input selection. It supports common multichannel formats and high-resolution sampling rates for lossless digital audio transmission.

Advantages

The switch supports popular 2.0 and 5.1 formats including LPCM, Dolby Digital and DTS, and offers up to 24-bit/96 kHz sampling for High-Res audio playback. It provides an effective optical output range up to 40 m with low signal loss (less than 0.2 dB/m). Inputs can be changed either manually using buttons on the device or remotely via the included IR remote, and the unit remembers the last selected input after power-off. Power is supplied via the included USB cable, so no separate power adapter is required.

Suitable for

• Home theater systems with multiple optical audio sources
• Connecting game consoles, set-top boxes or media players to a single soundbar or AVR
• Small AV setups where space is limited and a compact switch is needed

How to use

Connect up to three TOSLINK optical cables from your audio sources to the switch inputs and connect the switch output to your soundbar, AV receiver or speaker system. Plug the supplied USB cable into a USB power source to power the unit. Use the front panel buttons or the IR remote control to select the desired input; the switch will route the selected digital audio signal to the output. When the switch loses power and is later restored, it will return to the last selected input.

Recommendations

For best audio performance use high-quality TOSLINK cables and avoid sharp bends. If a long optical run is required, ensure cable length and installation maintain the specified maximum transmission distance to minimise signal loss.
