Sähkökotelo Rittal GA 9114.210, IP66, 360×160×91 mm

Rittal GA 9114.210 is a spray-finished cast aluminium electrical enclosure with protection category IP66 and external dimensions 360 × 160 × 91 mm. The compact, robust housing is designed to protect electrical and electronic components from dust and powerful water jets, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. The enclosure provides a corrosion-resistant surface and a sealed interior that helps maintain reliable operation of mounted devices in harsh industrial environments.

Advantages

The cast aluminium construction offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and improved mechanical protection compared with thin-sheet enclosures. The spray-finished surface enhances corrosion resistance and provides a uniform appearance while remaining suitable for additional painting or labelling. With IP66 protection, the enclosure prevents dust ingress and withstands powerful water jets, ensuring secure protection for wiring, connectors, small control modules and instrumentation. The compact external dimensions allow efficient use of wall or panel space while providing sufficient internal volume for wiring and terminal connections.

Key specifications

How to use

Use the enclosure to house small control modules, junctions, terminal strips and sensor interfaces. Before installation, verify the desired cable entry points and prepare compatible cable glands or conduit fittings that maintain IP66 rating. Mount the enclosure to a flat surface or panel using appropriate screws and anchors for the substrate; ensure gaskets and sealing surfaces are clean and undamaged to preserve ingress protection. Route wiring and secure connections inside the enclosure, observing clearance for airflow and heat dissipation if live components are installed.

Recommendations for use

To maintain IP66 protection, check gaskets and fasteners periodically and replace damaged sealing components. When drilling or modifying the enclosure, use proper tools and re-seal any new openings to restore the enclosure's ingress protection. For outdoor installations, consider additional corrosion protection or suitable paint systems compatible with the spray finish.
