Why choose it

The Pedroc Mate 22 is engineered for minimal weight and maximum ventilation. The Dry Back Contact system uses a breathable mesh and a structured air channel to reduce contact area, while the ripstop nylon shrugs off abrasion from rocks and branches. A PFC-free DWR treatment sheds light rain, and the integrated rain cover provides full protection when storms roll in. The removable hip belt and helmet holder let you tailor the pack to your activity—strip it down for MTB or keep it fully featured for multi-hour hikes.

Ideal use cases

• Speed hiking and fastpacking on technical terrain
• Mountain biking with helmet and hydration carry
• Day hikes where low weight and ventilation matter
• Alpine scrambles and via ferrata with pole attachment

Good to know

The Pedroc Mate 22 is unisex and fits a wide range of torso lengths thanks to the adjustable sternum strap and removable hip belt. The top-loading design with a full-length zipper gives quick access to the main compartment, while the front zip pocket keeps essentials handy. All materials are PFC-free, aligning with Salewa's commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
