SCART-kaapeli ShiverPeaks Scart/Scart 1,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Scart/Scart 1.5m cable provides a 1.5 metre connection between two devices using 21-pin SCART connectors on both ends. Designed for audio and video transmission, this black cable is intended for use with televisions, DVD players and legacy gaming consoles. Manufactured to BS96006 standards, it aims to deliver stable signal transfer and reliable physical performance in typical home entertainment setups.

Advantages

The cable offers a standardized 21-pin SCART interface at each end to carry composite video, RGB and stereo audio signals where supported. With a 1.5 m length it balances reach and cable management for domestic installations. The black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with common AV equipment while the BS96006 compliance indicates attention to build quality and durability.

Suitable for

• Connecting a television to a DVD player
• Linking legacy gaming consoles to a TV
• Interfacing set-top boxes or VCRs with display devices
• Temporary or permanent AV installations in homes and small venues

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: SCART 21-pin on both ends
• Signal types supported: composite video, stereo audio, RGB where device-compatible
• Colour: Black
• Standards: Manufactured to BS96006 performance and durability requirements

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Insert each SCART connector firmly into the corresponding SCART socket on the source and the display device, making sure the plug orientation matches the socket. After connections are secure, power on the devices and select the appropriate AV input on the display. For best results, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from high-power electrical sources to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use the cable at its intended maximum length of 1.5 m and verify that connected devices support RGB or the desired signal format. Store the cable coiled without tight bends and avoid stretching the connectors to prolong service life.
