Fast-drying ink that resists smudging when highlighted and is waterproof for the black ink according to ISO 12757-2. The robust stainless-steel tip and large ink supply ensure consistent performance and minimal smearing. The reusable adjustable case doubles as a pen holder and is manufactured partly from internal plastic waste. The Slider Edge is produced CO2 neutral.

Advantages

The Schneider Slider Edge Pastel combines Viscoglide® technology and a wear-resistant stainless-steel tip to deliver smooth, even lines with an extra broad stroke. Fast-drying, smudge-resistant ink—black ink tested waterproof to ISO 12757-2—makes the pens suitable for highlighting and mixed-media work. The rubberised three-sided barrel improves grip and prevents rolling, while the slim profile and cap design provide practical storage. The set includes eight pastel shades and comes in a durable, partly recycled case produced CO2 neutral.

How to use

Remove the cap and write with light, even pressure to maintain smooth ink flow. Replace the cap after use; it can be placed on either end of the pen while writing or stored in the included case. For drawing or painting on absorbent paper, test a small area first to confirm desired effect. Store pens horizontally when not in use to keep the large ink supply evenly distributed.

Recommendations

For highlighting over written lines, allow a few seconds for the ink to dry fully; the black ink meets ISO 12757-2 waterproof standards and resists running on absorbent surfaces, making these pens suitable for mixed-media and project work.
