Segmenttiterä Bosch PRO MATI68RT3 2,8x68 mm kovametallirakeisuus laastille ja kevytbetonille

Segment saw blade Bosch PRO MATI68RT3 2.8x68 mm carbide grit is a purpose-made cutting accessory for angle grinders and handheld cutting tools. With a segmented rim and carbide grit surface, this blade is engineered to cut mortar and aerated concrete efficiently while allowing effective heat dissipation during sustained use. Its compact 68 mm diameter and 2.8 mm thickness make it suitable for confined work areas and precise removal tasks common in renovation and masonry work.

Advantages

The segmented design combined with carbide grit ensures aggressive material removal while reducing clogging and heat build-up. The small diameter provides better control and access in tight joints and around fixtures. The blade construction supports consistent cutting performance on porous and abrasive materials such as mortar and aerated concrete, enabling cleaner cuts and reduced operator effort compared with standard abrasive discs.

Suitable for

• Cutting and trimming mortar joints and residue
• Shaping, trimming and slotting aerated concrete blocks
• Removing old or deteriorated bedding and joint material
• Detail work in renovation, masonry repair and installation tasks

Key specifications

• Diameter: 68 mm
• Thickness: 2.8 mm
• Cutting edge: segmented rim with carbide grit
• Compatible tool type: angle grinders and handheld cutting tools
• Material suitability: mortar, aerated concrete and similar porous masonry materials

How to use

Mount the blade on an appropriate angle grinder or handheld cutting tool following the tool manufacturer's instructions and ensuring correct fitting and fastening. Always use appropriate guards and check blade rotation direction before operation. For optimal results, make steady, controlled passes without excessive force, allowing the carbide grit to wear the material gradually. Allow the blade to cool between prolonged cuts to maintain performance and reduce wear.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment including eye protection, dust mask or respirator, hearing protection and gloves. Work in well-ventilated areas and secure workpieces before cutting. Replace the blade when cutting performance declines or if visible damage appears.
