The Digitus Wall mounted rack DN-19 09U-6/6-EC-SW is a compact 9U network cabinet designed for wall installation and organized equipment mounting. Constructed from sheet steel up to 1.5 mm thick and finished with electrostatic powder coating in black (RAL 9005), the cabinet includes galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails on both front and rear sides, adjustable in depth, and labelled with rack units readable in both directions. The roof, floor and back wall have pre-cut cable inlets and the roof includes a pre-cut area for a fan module. Removable side panels and a lockable, removable glass front door with reversible hinges provide secure yet accessible equipment housing. The cabinet is suitable for installations requiring a compact footprint and up to 60 kg mounting capacity while offering IP20 protection.

Advantages

The cabinet combines a space-saving wall-mounted design with durable sheet-steel construction and an anti-scratch powder-coated finish. Galvanized, depth-adjustable 19" profile rails with clear RU markings simplify mounting and alignment of equipment. Pre-cut cable inlets and a fan-ready roof save installation time, while removable side walls and a lockable glass door improve accessibility and security. The reversible door hinges and boltable mounting plate make wall installation and maintenance straightforward.

How to use

Bolt the supplied mounting plate to a suitable load-bearing wall at the planned height and then attach the cabinet to the plate. Adjust the depth of the 19" profile rails as required for your devices and mount switches, patch panels or other 19" equipment using standard rack screws. Route cables through the pre-cut inlets in the roof, floor or rear wall; fit a compatible fan module into the pre-cut roof area if active ventilation is needed. Use the removable side panels for internal access and secure the front glass door with the integrated key lock. Reverse the door hinges if left- or right-opening access is preferred.

Recommendations

Install the mounting plate into solid construction or use appropriate wall anchors for drywall; do not exceed the cabinet's maximum load capacity and ensure sufficient ventilation when mounting heat-generating equipment. For outdoor or high-dust environments, consider a cabinet with higher IP rating.
