Seinäkiinnitteinen 9U-räkkikotelo DIGITUS Dynamic-N DN-37104, 600 x 450 mm, IP20, avainlukko, kokoamaton

Wall-mounted 19" rack cabinet DIGITUS Dynamic-N DN-37104 offers 9U of mounting space in a compact 600 x 450 mm (WxD) footprint. Designed for network and telecommunication equipment, the cabinet is made of robust 1.0–1.2 mm powder-coated steel in light grey and comes unassembled to optimise transport. The enclosure includes adjustable 19" front and rear rails, pre-punched cable entry points, ventilation slots and provision for a fan module. A lockable safety glass front door, removable side panels and a removable rear door support secure access and convenient installation. The cabinet is rated IP20 and supports installations up to a recommended maximum component depth and a total load of 60 kg.

Advantages

The DIGITUS Dynamic-N DN-37104 combines a space-saving wall-mounted design with adjustable 19" rails and multiple cable entry options, enabling neat and secure mounting of switches, patch panels and small servers. Its removable panels and one-point key lock on the front door provide straightforward access control and maintenance. Supplied unassembled, the cabinet reduces shipping volume while maintaining durable steel construction and built-in ventilation to help manage equipment cooling.

Suitable for

• Small network closets and communication points
• Mounting patch panels, network switches and routers
• Compact server or appliance installations with limited depth
• Office or retail sites where wall-mounted cabinets save floor space

When it may not be suitable

This 9U, 600x450 mm wall-mounted cabinet is intended for light to moderate loads up to 60 kg and for equipment with standard 19" mounting. It is not suitable for large server racks, heavy equipment exceeding the specified load, or installations that require a higher ingress protection rating than IP20 (for example outdoor or dusty industrial environments).

How to use

Assemble the flat-pack cabinet following the enclosed instructions, starting with the mounting plate for wall attachment. Secure the mounting plate to a load-bearing wall suitable for the combined weight of the cabinet and installed equipment, then mount the cabinet housing onto the plate. Adjust and fix the 19" rails to the required depth for your devices, install patch panels, switches or appliances using standard 19" fasteners, and route cables through the pre-punched openings in the roof, base or rear. Fit the desired ventilation or fan module into the prepared roof area if active cooling is required. Ensure all earthing points are connected when installing electronic equipment.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm device depth and weight to ensure compatibility with the 219–320 mm installation depth and 60 kg load limit.
• Check that IP20 protection is sufficient for the installation environment (indoor, non-dusty, non-wet locations).
• Plan wall mounting location and verify wall structure can bear the assembled cabinet plus equipment weight.
• Decide whether active ventilation (fan module) is needed for heat-producing equipment.
• Allow time for assembly — the product is supplied unassembled.

Recommendations

Install heavier equipment as low as possible within the 9U space to optimise stability and airflow. Use the labelled and depth-adjustable 19" rails to align devices precisely, and route patch and power cables separately where feasible to reduce interference and improve cooling. Regularly check the earthing connections and the condition of the door lock for secure operation.
