Seinälevy / kytkinkansi Merten 296019, valkoinen, kestomuovi, 1-osainen

The Merten 296019 wall plate is a single-piece, white switch cover made from durable thermoplastic. Designed to provide a clean finish around switches and sockets, the plate fits standard installation openings and is supplied as one unit. Its smooth surface and neutral color support a variety of interior styles while offering a practical protective frame for switch mechanisms.

Advantages

The thermoplastic construction ensures impact resistance and long-term dimensional stability while remaining lightweight for ease of handling. Its one-piece design simplifies installation and reduces the number of visible seams. The white finish offers a neutral appearance that conceals minor surface imperfections and coordinates with most switch types and mounting frames.

Suitable for

• Residential wall switch and socket covers
• Office or commercial interior installations
• Renovation projects requiring matching white finishes
• Replacement of damaged or discolored switch frames

Key specifications

• Material: thermoplastic for durability and ease of cleaning
• Color: white, matte or low-sheen surface
• Configuration: single-piece cover compatible with standard switch openings
• Mounting: designed for typical flush wall mounting with compatible frames and fixings
• Finish: smooth surface that resists staining and is wipe-cleanable

How to use

Turn off power to the circuit at the consumer unit before starting work. Remove the existing switch cover by unscrewing the mounting screws and gently lifting the frame away from the wall. Position the Merten single-piece wall plate over the switch mechanism or socket, align the fixing holes, and secure it with appropriate screws. Ensure the plate sits flush against the wall and that any edges do not obstruct switch operation. Restore power and verify correct functioning of the fitted device.

Recommendations

Use non-abrasive cleaning agents and a soft cloth to maintain the white thermoplastic surface. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods to minimize potential discoloration. Confirm compatibility with the existing switch or socket mounting system before installation.
