SFP+-kaapeli BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-HU-BO 25 m uros/uros

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-HU-BO is a 25 meter SFP+ active optical cable with male SFP+ connectors on both ends, designed for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. The cable uses active optical technology to provide low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity between switches, servers and storage systems in data centre and enterprise networks. Its 25 m length gives flexibility for rack-to-rack and cabinet-to-cabinet connections while maintaining signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

Advantages

This SFP+ active optical cable delivers native 10 Gbps throughput with low power consumption and stable signal quality across its full length. The all-optical link eliminates susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and provides improved thermal and mechanical flexibility in dense cabling environments. Connectorized male SFP+ ends enable direct insertion into standard SFP+ ports without additional transceivers, simplifying installation and reducing component count.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches and servers
• Inter-rack and intra-rack links in data centres
• High-bandwidth storage area network (SAN) uplinks
• Network aggregation and spine-leaf topologies

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 25 m
• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Transmission medium: active optical cable (AOC)
• Latency: low, suitable for high-performance networking
• Immunity: resistant to electromagnetic interference compared with copper cabling

How to use

Insert each male SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports until the latch engages; ensure devices are powered off or follow hot-plug guidance from the device manufacturer when connecting live equipment. Confirm link status and speed in the switch or server management interface after installation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; the cable jacket and optical fibres require gentle handling to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the BlueOptics 25 m SFP+ AOC in equipment rated for 10 Gbps SFP+ modules, avoid tight bends (observe minimum bend radius), and verify compatibility with your network hardware's SFP+ port and firmware. Store and handle the cable in a clean environment to prevent contamination of connector endfaces.
