SHIVERPEAKS BS08-84035007 Cat.7 S/FTP asennuskaapeli, BasePro, oranssi, 500m

Running high-speed network infrastructure through buildings often means dealing with electromagnetic interference, strict fire safety codes, and the need for reliable long-distance performance. The SHIVERPEAKS BasePro Cat.7 S/FTP installation cable solves these challenges in one 500-metre reel, delivering shielded, low-smoke, halogen-free cabling that is ready for professional structured wiring.

Who is it for

This cable is built for network installers, system integrators, and IT technicians who need a dependable, standards-compliant backbone for indoor installations. It suits office buildings, data centres, industrial facilities, and any environment where 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper is required with maximum protection against crosstalk and external noise.

Main features

• Category 7 performance with 600 MHz bandwidth and 10GBASE-T support up to 100 metres.
• S/FTP shielding: each pair is wrapped in aluminium foil (PiMF) and the entire bundle is protected by a tinned copper braid, ensuring superior immunity to EMI/RFI.
• Solid bare copper conductors, 4x2xAWG 23/1, for stable signal integrity and easy termination into patch panels and keystone jacks.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) orange jacket meets strict fire safety regulations, emitting very low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire.
• Supplied on a convenient 500-metre drum for pull-box or reel-based installation, reducing waste and simplifying cable management.
• Complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and TIA/EIA-568-C.2, ensuring compatibility with global structured cabling standards.

Tips

Because of its solid conductors, this cable is intended for fixed installation rather than frequent flexing. Use proper cable pulling lubricant and avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius (typically 4x the outer diameter) to maintain performance. Pair it with Cat.7 shielded connectors and grounded patch panels to fully benefit from the S/FTP shielding.
