ShiverPeaks BS13-50001 USB-keskitin USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A 5000 Mbit/s alumiini musta

The ShiverPeaks BS13-50001 is a compact USB hub with four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, designed to expand a single USB Type-A host port into multiple high-speed connections. With theoretical data transfer rates up to 5000 Mbit/s and an aluminium and black finish, the hub combines a durable metal housing with a restrained aesthetic suitable for home, office or mobile workstations. The device supports plug-and-play operation with USB 3.2 Gen 1 host interfaces and is intended for connecting external drives, input devices and other peripherals that require standard Type-A connectivity.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides increased durability and improved heat dissipation compared with plastic enclosures, while the four Type-A ports offer simultaneous connections for multiple devices. Native support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 enables high-speed data transfers for compatible peripherals, and the compact form factor minimises desktop clutter. The black and aluminium design fits a variety of setups and the hub is backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices.

Suitable for

• Expanding a laptop or desktop USB Type-A port to connect multiple peripherals
• Connecting external hard drives or SSDs for data transfer and backups
• Attaching keyboards, mice, printers and other office devices
• Temporary workstation setups where multiple USB ports are required

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 4 Type-A USB ports
• Host interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A)
• Port interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
• Maximum transfer rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Material and colour: aluminium housing with black accents

How to use

Connect the ShiverPeaks BS13-50001 to a host computer using the integrated or supplied USB Type-A cable into a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port on the PC or laptop. After connection, the hub operates in plug-and-play mode on most modern operating systems; connect your USB devices to the available Type-A ports. For high-speed transfers, attach drives and peripherals that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 and ensure the host port also supports USB 3.2 Gen 1. If multiple high-power devices are connected, verify device operation and consult device power requirements.

Recommendations

Use the hub on a flat, stable surface and keep ventilation clear around the aluminium housing to support thermal dissipation. For sustained high-speed transfers or multiple power-hungry devices, consider connecting externally powered devices or using a powered hub variant to ensure stable operation. Avoid exposing the hub to liquids or extreme temperatures and unplug it before cleaning.
