ShiverPeaks BS72060-R RJ45-liitin

The ShiverPeaks BS72060-R is a metallic RJ45 wire connector finished in white, engineered for reliable Ethernet and structured cabling terminations. Supplied as a single piece, this compact connector provides a solid mechanical and electrical interface for network patching and permanent link installations. Its metal body supports shielding and improves durability compared with plastic alternatives, while the white finish makes it suitable for visible installations where appearance matters.

Advantages

The metallic construction offers enhanced mechanical strength and electromagnetic shielding to reduce interference on high-speed links. Its compact form factor enables easy fitting into keystone plates, patch panels, and custom housings. The white finish provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance in residential and office environments. Designed for straightforward termination, the connector supports secure contact retention and consistent signal transmission.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patch cables and short fixed links
• Shielded cabling installations requiring metal-bodied connectors
• Residential and small office network upgrades
• Field repairs and single-point replacements

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ45 (8P8C) metallic body
• Color: white finish
• Package quantity: 1 piece
• Intended use: network cable termination and patching
• Compatibility: standard Ethernet cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a where applicable)

How to use

Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer jacket and arranging the conductors according to the chosen wiring standard. Insert the conductors fully into the connector until they reach the contact positions, then secure the termination according to the connector's recommended method (crimping, IDC punch-down, or soldering depending on design). After termination, verify that the connector is seated correctly and that the shielding continuity is maintained if used with shielded cable. Test the completed link with a network cable tester to confirm continuity and pair integrity.

Recommendations

Use this metallic RJ45 connector with compatible shielded or unshielded cables, and select the correct installation tool for the connector type to ensure reliable terminations. For permanent installations, test each connection after assembly and provide appropriate strain relief to avoid mechanical stress on the contact area.
