HDMI-kaapeli S/CONN 7,5 m HDMI A

The ShiverPeaks HDMI Cable S/CONN 7.5m HDMI A is a 7.5-metre black HDMI cable with male HDMI Type A connectors on both ends designed for transmission of high-definition video and digital audio between consumer electronics. The cable supports a data transfer rate up to 8.16 Gbit/s and features gold-plated contacts to reduce oxidation and improve long-term contact reliability. Its length and connector type make it suitable for connecting TVs, monitors, projectors, gaming consoles and other HDMI-equipped devices where a mid-range run is required.

Advantages

The cable provides stable transmission for HD signals thanks to its specified data throughput and consistent connector contacts. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and maintain signal integrity over repeated connections. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility in equipment placement without the need for extenders, while the uniform HDMI Type A connectors on both ends simplify installation and compatibility with standard HDMI ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes or media players over a mid-length run
• Linking gaming consoles to displays or AV receivers
• Connecting projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Extending HDMI connection between PCs/laptops and external monitors

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Cable length: 7.5 metres
• Data transfer rate: up to 8.16 Gbit/s
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black
• Signal supported: high-definition video and digital audio

How to use

Plug one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device (such as a Blu-ray player, console or set-top box) and insert the other connector into the HDMI input of the display device (TV, projector or monitor). Ensure both devices are powered off or that hot-plugging is supported by your equipment before connecting. After physical connection, switch on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. Use the display and source settings to configure resolution and audio output as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power cables and secure it to prevent sharp bends or kinks. If long-term reliability is required, periodically inspect connector contacts for contamination and clean gently with a dry, lint-free cloth. For resolutions or refresh rates beyond standard HD, verify that both source and display support the desired mode within the cable's data transfer capability.
