HDMI-kaapeli S/CONN BS30-01485 30 m

The S/CONN BS30-01485 HDMI cable by ShiverPeaks is a 30 m HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A cable designed for long-distance digital audio/video transmission. It uses male HDMI Type A connectors with gold-plated contacts and a black outer jacket, providing a reliable physical connection between source devices and displays across extended runs. The cable is intended for applications that require a single continuous HDMI run without intermediate signal conversion.

Advantages

This 30-meter HDMI cable offers straightforward plug-and-play connectivity with standard HDMI Type A ports and gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance and stable contact performance. The extended length reduces the need for additional extenders or repeaters in many installations, while the black cable jacket provides a discrete appearance suitable for residential and commercial setups. The uniform connector type on both ends simplifies installation and device compatibility when both devices have standard HDMI ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC, media player or set-top box to a distant TV or projector
• Home theater setups where the source and display are in different rooms or far apart
• Conference rooms and lecture halls requiring a long HDMI run to a display
• AV installations in offices, classrooms, or retail displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black outer jacket

How to use

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of the source device and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device. Ensure both devices are powered off or in standby when connecting for safest installation, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If image or sound does not appear, verify that both devices support compatible HDMI signal formats and check cable seating at each connector.

Recommendations

For optimal performance over a 30 m run, avoid sharp bends and excessive kinking of the cable. Route the cable away from high-power electrical wiring and large motors to reduce potential electromagnetic interference. If you experience signal degradation with very high-resolution or high-refresh-rate content, consider using an active HDMI cable, an HDMI signal booster, or a specialty cable certified for the required bandwidth.
