USB-kaapeli S/CONN 13-23055 USB 2.0 5 m

The ShiverPeaks USB Cable S/CONN 13-23055 USB 2.0 5m is a 5 metre black data cable with USB A to USB B connectors designed for USB 2.0 connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s and is intended for connecting desktop peripherals such as printers and scanners to host devices. The cable construction balances flexibility and durability for routine office and home use.

Advantages

This USB A to USB B cable provides a straightforward wired connection compatible with USB 2.0 interfaces. The 5 m length enables placement of peripherals at a greater distance from the host without relying on wireless solutions. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits into standard office or home setups, while the connectors are designed for secure mating with compatible device ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to desktop or laptop computers
• Linking scanners or multi-function devices to hosts
• Data transfer between USB 2.0 host controllers and peripheral devices
• Temporary workstation setups where longer cable reach is required

Key specifications

• Connectors: USB A (Type A) to USB B (Type B)
• USB standard: USB 2.0
• Maximum data transfer rate: 0.48 Gbit/s (USB 2.0 full speed/high speed range)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert the USB A connector into an available USB port on the host device (computer or hub) and plug the USB B connector into the peripheral device (printer, scanner or similar). Ensure both connectors are fully seated to establish a reliable connection. Use device drivers provided by the peripheral manufacturer if the host operating system does not automatically recognize the device. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For stable operation, route the cable away from sources of electrical interference and avoid running it parallel to power cables over long distances. If the connected device requires higher transfer speeds or USB Power Delivery, consider using a cable and device combination that supports a newer USB standard. Regular visual inspection of connectors and the cable jacket will help detect wear and prevent connection issues.
