USB-kaapeli S/CONN 13-37010 USB 3.2 Gen 2 0,5 m

The S/CONN 13-37010 USB cable by ShiverPeaks is a 0.5 m grey USB data cable featuring USB A connectors on both ends and support for USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 2). It is designed for reliable short-range connections and high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gbit/s between compatible devices such as external drives, docking stations, hubs and computers.

Advantages

This USB cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth for up to 10 Gbit/s transfer rates, enabling fast file transfers and large data stream handling. The compact 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and signal attenuation for short connections. Both ends use standard USB A connectors for broad device compatibility, and the grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for office and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives or SSD enclosures to a computer.
• Linking docking stations or USB hubs in a desktop setup.
• Fast data transfer between compatible peripheral devices.
• Temporary or permanent short-range cable routing where a short cable is preferred.

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one USB A end to the host device (for example a computer or laptop) and the other USB A end to the peripheral device (external drive, hub or docking station). Ensure both connected devices support the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification to achieve maximum transfer speeds. For secure data transfer, insert connectors fully until they click or fit snugly into the port and avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m cable for short, direct connections where high transfer speed is required. Avoid using the cable with devices that require power delivery over USB A-to-A configurations; verify device compatibility and safety before connecting two host-type ports directly.
