USB-kaapeli S/CONN 13-49055 USB 3.2 Gen 2 5 m USB-C musta

The ShiverPeaks USB cable S/CONN 13-49055 is a 5 m USB C to USB C data cable supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 with up to 10 Gbit/s transfer speed. Designed for devices with USB Type-C ports, the cable combines a long reach with a slim black jacket that integrates into desktop, home office and AV setups. The cable supports high-speed data transfer between compatible hosts and peripherals while maintaining a simple, reversible USB C connection on both ends.

Advantages

This USB C cable provides a sustained data throughput of up to 10 Gbit/s enabled by USB 3.2 Gen 2 signalling. The 5 m length allows flexible placement of laptops, external drives, docking stations and monitors without needing immediate proximity. USB C connectors on both ends offer reversible insertion and broad compatibility with modern devices that use the USB Type-C physical interface. The black outer sheath is resistant to visible wear and blends with most equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops to USB C docking stations or hubs over a longer distance
• Transferring large files between external SSDs/HDDs and compatible hosts
• Linking USB C monitors or capture devices to source hardware
• Use in home offices, studios and conference rooms where cable length is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C — both ends
• USB specification: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug each USB C connector into the USB Type-C port of the two devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted. The reversible USB C design allows insertion in either orientation. For full 10 Gbit/s performance, use with devices and ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 2; performance will fall back to the maximum supported by the connected devices if they use earlier USB generations. Avoid sharp bends and strain on the connectors to preserve signal integrity and cable life.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect the cable directly between compliant devices or via certified hubs/docking stations that support USB 3.2 Gen 2. When using external storage, ensure the drive enclosure and host port both support the same USB generation to achieve top transfer speeds. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power AC lines to reduce potential interference.
