USB-kaapeli S/CONN 30-42055 5 m USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C musta

The S/CONN 30-42055 5m USB cable by ShiverPeaks is a black USB C to USB C lead that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbit/s. Designed for extended-reach connections, this 5 metre cable provides a single-cable solution for high-speed data transfer and device charging between compatible laptops, desktops, external drives and peripherals. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for consistent performance over time.

Advantages

This USB C cable combines high transfer speed and extended length to accommodate setups where devices are farther apart. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification enables up to 10 Gbit/s throughput for large file transfers and fast data access. Gold-plated contacts offer improved conductivity and reduced oxidation compared with standard contacts. The symmetrical USB C connectors on both ends allow reversible plugging for ease of use.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB C laptops and docking stations at a distance
• Linking external SSDs and high-capacity storage for fast backups
• Transferring large multimedia files between devices
• Charging USB C devices where a longer cable run is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C to USB C
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts

How to use

Connect one USB C plug to the host device (for example a laptop or desktop) and the other plug to the peripheral (for example an external drive or dock). Ensure both devices support USB C connections and, for maximum data speeds, that both endpoints support USB 3.2 Gen 2. The reversible USB C plugs allow insertion in either orientation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching to maintain signal integrity and cable life.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and keep the cable untangled and free from tight coils. Avoid placing heavy objects on the cable and maintain gentle bend radii near the connectors to prolong service life.
