Verkkokaapeli Goobay 68372 30 m Cat5e U/UTP

The Goobay 68372 30m Cat5e U/UTP networking cable is a 30‑meter Ethernet cable designed for stable data transmission in home and office networks. It uses Cat5e performance class wiring and RJ‑45 connectors on both ends to connect computers, routers, switches and other network devices. The cable’s unshielded/overall screened (U/UTP) design and quality inner conductors support reliable signal transfer and reduced interference for typical Ethernet applications.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides consistent high‑speed signal transmission over a 30 m run, combining durable outer sheathing with precisely fitted RJ‑45 plugs for secure connections. The U/UTP construction helps limit external interference, while the grey jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into residential and commercial environments. The cable is flexible enough for standard installation routes and robust enough for long‑term use.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to routers or switches
• Wired connections for streaming devices, smart TVs and gaming consoles
• Structured cabling runs in small offices and home networks up to 30 meters
• Temporary setups for events or testing network equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e
• Length: 30 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45 on both ends
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded pairs, overall screening)
• Conductor quality: high‑quality inner conductors for stable transmission
• Outer jacket color: grey

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the Ethernet port of your device. Ensure both connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For wall routing or cable management, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible. After connection, check link/activity LEDs on your network equipment to verify an active connection; configure device network settings if necessary.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from mains power lines and large electrical devices to reduce potential interference. Use cable clips or trunking to secure the run and avoid kinking; maintain minimum bend radii recommended for Ethernet cabling. Cat5e is suitable for typical 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps networks within the specified distance.
