verkkokaapeli S/CONN 08-22066 valkoinen 7 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22066 White 7m Cat6 U/UTP is a 7-meter Category 6 patch cable designed for wired network connections. It uses U/UTP construction with an unshielded twisted-pair core and overall unshielded design, and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is suitable for typical home, office and small business network cabling where Cat6 performance is required and a white finish is preferred.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with a 7 m length to bridge moderate distances between network devices. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The U/UTP construction provides consistent signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet while maintaining a flexible, easy-to-route jacket for installation along desks, walls or in cable channels. The white outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with light-coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between computers, routers, switches and modems
• Home and small office network setups where a 7 m cable length is needed
• Patch panel to switch or wall outlet to device connections in structured cabling
• Temporary event networks and AV setups requiring reliable wired links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 7 m
• Conductor type: twisted pair (U/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: 1000 Mbit/s
• Colour: white

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (for example a computer, switch or router) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network infrastructure. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted and the clip engages to secure the connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension; route the cable with gentle curves and use cable clips or ties if necessary to keep it neat and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit performance, keep cable runs within recommended distances and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use the cable in indoor environments and protect connectors from dust and mechanical damage. If installing alongside multiple cables in a conduit, maintain proper separation to reduce crosstalk.
