Verkkokaapeli S/CONN 08-22305 musta 0,3m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22305 Black 0.3m Cat6 U/UTP is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact installations. This Cat6 cable uses U/UTP construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support stable data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. Its 0.3 m length and black jacket make it suitable for tidy connections between network devices in racks, wall-mounted panels, patch panels and desktop setups where minimal cable slack is required.

Advantages

The cable combines Category 6 performance with an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) design to provide consistent gigabit connectivity for short runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help reduce corrosion and ensure low contact resistance for better long-term signal integrity. The compact 0.3 m length reduces cable clutter and simplifies cable management in dense environments. The black outer jacket offers a neutral professional appearance that blends into most networking setups.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Desktop or office workstation network links
• Rack-mounted equipment and server cabinet cable management
• Home networking where a short, tidy Ethernet run is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 0.3 m
• Color: black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices to be linked until the latch clicks into place. Use the 0.3 m cable for short connections where devices are close together, such as between adjacent ports on a switch or from a patch panel to a nearby network device. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not strain the cable; route it along existing cable channels or secure it with cable ties to maintain a neat installation.

Recommendations

For reliable gigabit performance, ensure both connected devices support 1000 Mbit/s and that connectors are fully seated. Do not exceed the recommended bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize potential interference. For longer runs or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cable variants or higher category cables as appropriate.
