Verkkokaapeli S/CONN 08-26485 musta 30 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-26485 Black 30m Cat6a S/FTP is a 30-metre Ethernet cable built to meet Cat6a performance requirements with S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pairs plus overall shield) construction. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support stable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. Its black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for office, rack or home networking installations where high-speed data transfer and reduced interference are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting consistent throughput at higher frequencies typical for Cat6a-rated links. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time, promoting long-term connection stability. The 30 m length covers moderate point-to-point runs without the need for additional patch panels or extenders, while the black jacket provides a discreet aesthetic and basic mechanical protection for the cable core.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links up to Cat6a performance in offices and data closets
• Patch runs between switches, routers and wall outlets in commercial or home networks
• Environments where reduced EMI is required, such as near power equipment or dense cabling
• Structured cabling segments requiring a 30 m single-cable reach

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid or foil plus individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 30 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Outer jacket color: black

How to use

Uncoil the 30 m cable carefully to avoid kinks or sharp bends that could affect signal quality. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding port on network devices until the latch clicks. For permanent installations, route the cable along cable trays or inside conduits where appropriate and avoid running parallel to power lines to reduce potential interference. If using cable management accessories, allow gentle curves with a bend radius consistent with Cat6a recommendations to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For best results, test the link after installation with a network cable tester or certifier capable of verifying Cat6a parameters. Maintain separation from high-voltage power runs and sharp metal edges; if the cable requires frequent movement, consider replacing with a purpose-designed patch cable rated for flexing. Store unused length coiled loosely and avoid tight folds.
