Verkkokaapeli S/CONN 08-41006 0,25 m Cat8.1 F/FTP valkoinen

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41006 0.25m Cat8.1 F/FTP White is a short patch cable designed for high-frequency digital networks. Compliant with Cat8.1 performance, the cable features F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus an overall foil) and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to support high data rates and reduce electromagnetic interference. Its 0.25 m length makes it suitable for short connections in racks, patch panels, and densely packed workstations where minimal cable slack is required.

Advantages

The F/FTP shielding provides pair-level and overall protection against crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple adjacent cables or electronic equipment. The short 0.25 m length minimizes latency and signal attenuation for short runs and keeps cable management tidy in server cabinets and network enclosures. The RJ-45 terminations maintain compatibility with standard Ethernet ports while supporting the bandwidth demands associated with Cat8.1.

Suitable for

• Connecting patch panels to switches in data center racks
• Short links between network devices in server cabinets
• High-density workstation or AV racks where space is limited
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding type: F/FTP (overall foil with foil around each twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 0.25 m
• Color: White
• Application: Short-range high-speed Ethernet connections

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring the connector latch clicks into place. Use this 0.25 m cable for direct, short-distance connections such as between patch panels and nearby switches or between adjacent ports on the same rack unit. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable through cable management channels to maintain shield performance and mechanical integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cable in short-run, high-speed network segments inside cabinets or racks. Keep the cable separated from unshielded power cabling and avoid tight coils or sharp bends that could compromise shielding or internal pair geometry.
