Verkkokaapeli S/CONN 75500-A-100SSP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75500-A-100SSP is a 100 m Cat7a patch cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding, designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments. The cable delivers performance aligned with Cat7a specifications, supports higher bandwidths and improved crosstalk protection compared with lower-category cables, and is finished in a violet jacket for easy identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

This Cat7a cable features S/FTP shielding that combines an overall braided screen with individually foil-shielded pairs, reducing electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk. The 100 m continuous length suits longer runs without additional joins. The violet jacket simplifies visual management and routing in racks or conduit. The design is suitable for installations where stable, high-throughput connections and reduced signal degradation are required.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in offices and data rooms
• Backbone cabling and horizontal runs up to 100 m
• Video streaming and IP surveillance systems
• Home networks requiring improved shielding and bandwidth

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil around each pair)
• Length: 100 m
• Jacket color: violet
• Conductor configuration: twisted pairs (four pairs)
• Designed for high bandwidth and reduced crosstalk

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices: route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference, maintain the recommended bend radius, and secure the cable at regular intervals. Terminate the cable with compatible Cat7a connectors or keystone jacks that support S/FTP shielding to preserve performance. For runs approaching 100 m, verify link performance with appropriate testing tools after termination.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the cable in shielded or mixed environments where interference is a concern, terminate with compatible shielded connectors, label both ends for easy identification, and test each link after installation to confirm signal integrity and bandwidth capacity.
