Verkkokaapeli S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 0,25 m oranssi

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 0.25 m in orange is a short patch cable designed for high-speed network connections where space is limited or short links are required. The cable complies with Cat 7 characteristics and uses S/FTP shielding with individually foil-shielded pairs and an overall braided shield to reduce electromagnetic interference. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable provides a reliable interface for data transmission while the bright orange jacket makes cable routing and identification straightforward.

Advantages

The S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 0.25 m cable offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference thanks to its S/FTP construction, supporting stable high-frequency performance for demanding network applications. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve contact durability and reduce oxidation risk for consistent connectivity. Its short 0.25 m length reduces excess cabling in dense installations, and the orange color simplifies visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network equipment in racks and cabinets
• Connections in crowded data centers or telecom racks where space is limited
• Workstation or switch-to-switch links requiring Cat 7 performance over very short distances

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Jacket color: orange

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device or switch port and the other into the corresponding port on the paired device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and maintain minimal mechanical stress on the cable; the short length makes it suitable for tidy patching inside racks or directly between closely located devices.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. Use the bright orange color to label or separate specific network segments for maintenance. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and ensure secure seating to maintain reliable data transmission.
