ShiverPeaks verkkokaapeli S/CONN punainen Cat6 S/FTP 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Red Cat6 S/FTP 0.5m is a short, shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections between devices in compact setups. The cable uses S/FTP shielding and Category 6 specification to provide reduced electromagnetic interference and support reliable data transmission. RJ‑45 connectors with gold‑plated contacts ensure low contact resistance and stable link performance while the red jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels, racks, or desktop arrangements.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity in environments with other electrical equipment. The Cat6 category supports higher bandwidths and more consistent performance compared with lower categories for short runs. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts resist oxidation and help maintain low insertion loss over repeated plug cycles. The 0.5 meter length is useful for tidy connections where excess cable would create clutter.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ‑45
• Contact plating: Gold‑plated contacts
• Length: 0.5 m
• Cable color: Red

How to use

Insert an RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet port of each device until it clicks to establish a secure connection. Ensure that shielding continuity is maintained by mounting connectors and equipment with compatible metalized ports or using appropriate grounding in installations where shields must be earthed. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and compressing the cable; maintain manufacturer‑recommended bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel and close to high‑voltage power lines to reduce potential interference.
