ShiverPeaks XLR–6,3 mm stereo-kaapeli BS55034 — ShiverPeaks XLR–6,3 mm TRS

ShiverPeaks XLR to 6.3mm Stereo Cable BS55034 is an analog audio connection cable designed to convert balanced XLR signals to a 6.3 mm TRS stereo input. It provides a straightforward signal path between microphones, mixers, audio interfaces and other studio or live-sound equipment where a balanced XLR output must be connected to a TRS jack. The cable is intended for use in stage, studio and mobile setups that require a reliable wired link for line- or mic-level signals.

Advantages

This cable offers a balanced-to-TRS connection that preserves the intended signal polarity and helps reduce noise when used with compatible balanced outputs and TRS inputs. The construction supports common analog studio workflows and simplifies connections between professional audio gear without the need for adapters or external converters. The cable’s uniform conductor routing and shielding characteristics contribute to stable performance in typical live and studio environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting mixer or audio interface balanced outputs to 6.3 mm TRS inputs on amplifiers or processors
• Linking microphone preamps with XLR outputs to instruments or channel inputs that accept TRS
• Stage and live-sound signal routing where conversion from XLR to TRS is required
• Studio patching between consoles, outboard gear and recording interfaces

Key specifications

• Connector types: male XLR (balanced) to 6.3 mm TRS (stereo jack)
• Signal type: analog balanced-to-TRS
• Cable use: microphone- and line-level audio connections
• Typical applications: studio recording, live sound, patching and routing

How to use

Insert the XLR end into the balanced output of your microphone, mixer or audio interface and insert the 6.3 mm TRS plug into the receiving input of an amplifier, processor or instrument channel that accepts TRS. Ensure the connected devices are powered off or set to safe levels when making connections to avoid transient noise. Verify polarity and grounding at both ends if unexpected noise or phase issues occur. For best results, route the cable away from power lines and high-current sources.

Recommendations

Use this cable in setups where balanced XLR outputs are present and the destination accepts a 6.3 mm TRS jack; avoid using it to connect unbalanced sources to inputs expecting balanced signals without verifying signal levels and wiring. For permanent installations, check connector fit and strain relief and avoid sharp bends near terminations to prolong cable life.
