SIEMENS KNX DESK UP 258E22 -läsnäolotunnistin vakiovalosäädöllä, valkoinen 5WG12582EB22

Managing lighting and HVAC in offices or meeting rooms often means wasted energy and manual adjustments. The SIEMENS KNX DESK UP 258E22 presence detector solves this by automatically controlling lighting and climate based on room occupancy and ambient light levels. Mounted on a desk or shelf, it detects presence and adjusts lighting to maintain a constant brightness, reducing energy consumption and improving comfort.

Who is it for

Facility managers, system integrators, and building owners who need reliable, energy-efficient automation for small to medium-sized rooms. Ideal for offices, conference rooms, and reception areas where desk-level detection is preferred over ceiling mounting.

Main features

• Passive infrared (PIR) presence detection with a range of approximately 3 x 4.5 meters at a mounting height of 0.8 meters.
• Integrated light sensor (10–2000 lux) for constant light control, automatically dimming or switching lights to maintain set brightness.
• Three independent channels: lighting, HVAC, and auxiliary, allowing flexible control of multiple systems.
• Built-in push button for manual override and teaching of light setpoints.
• KNX bus powered with low current consumption (<10 mA), no separate power supply needed.
• Adjustable time delay for lighting from 10 seconds to 120 minutes to prevent false switching.
• Compact, desk-mount design in white (RAL 9010), blends into modern interiors.

Tips

For best performance, mount the detector at a height between 0.8 and 1.2 meters on a stable surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Use the integrated push button during commissioning to teach the desired light level for constant light control. Configure via ETS to fine-tune channel functions and time delays according to room usage.
