Silitysrauta Jata JEPL2241

The Iron Jata JEPL2241 delivers practical ironing performance with a steam function, adjustable temperature control and a non-stick soleplate designed for smooth gliding over fabrics. Lightweight and easy to handle, it has a 1.8‑metre cord that offers reach and manoeuvrability. The appliance is intended for everyday domestic use across a wide range of textiles and focuses on efficient wrinkle removal and a polished finish.

Advantages

The steam function supports faster ironing by relaxing fibres; adjustable temperature settings allow tailoring heat to specific fabrics, reducing the risk of damage. The non-stick soleplate minimises friction and sticking, helping garments glide beneath the plate and preserving delicate surfaces. A lightweight design improves handling and reduces arm fatigue during longer sessions. The 1.8‑metre cord increases freedom of movement around the ironing board.

Suitable for

• Everyday household ironing of shirts, trousers and dresses
• Garments made from cotton, linen, synthetic blends and many delicate fabrics (use appropriate temperature setting)
• Quick touch-ups and last-minute finishing before events or work
• Small to medium laundry loads where ease of handling is preferred

Key specifications

• Steam output for improved wrinkle removal
• Adjustable temperature control for varied fabric types
• Non-stick soleplate for smooth gliding
• Lightweight body for easier handling
• 1.8‑metre power cord for extended reach

How to use

Fill the water tank according to the markings, plug the iron into a compatible power outlet and select the appropriate temperature for the fabric being ironed. Allow the iron to heat up until the ready indicator (if present) signals the selected temperature. Use the steam function for stubborn wrinkles, moving the iron in steady strokes over the garment and applying light pressure. For delicate fabrics, use lower temperature settings and test on an inconspicuous area first. After use, switch off and unplug the iron, allow it to cool fully before emptying any remaining water and storing.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if your local water supply is hard to reduce mineral buildup. Always follow fabric care labels and adjust the temperature dial accordingly. Store the iron in an upright position once cooled and empty the water tank to prolong appliance lifespan.
