Silppuri Adler AD 1040 ristileikkaus — jopa 10 arkkia, ristileikkaava silppuri

Adler AD 1040 Cross Cut is a compact paper shredder designed for home and small office use. It reliably shreds paper and similar media with a cross-cut pattern, improving protection of sensitive information. The unit accepts up to 10 sheets per pass and includes a feed slot and an integrated waste bin, providing a simple solution for routine document destruction and secure disposal of personal or business papers.

Advantages

The cross-cut mechanism reduces documents to small confetti-like pieces, enhancing confidentiality compared with straight-cut shredders. Its compact footprint and straightforward controls make the device easy to place and operate in limited spaces. The built-in waste bin simplifies cleanup and disposal, while the capacity to handle up to 10 sheets at once balances throughput and safety for typical household and small-office workloads.

Suitable for

• Shredding personal documents such as bank statements, bills and correspondence
• Disposing of small volumes of business paperwork and internal memos
• Destroying credit card strips, receipts and similar media
• Use in home offices, small business workspaces or shared common areas

Key specifications

• Shredding type: cross-cut for increased security
• Capacity: up to 10 sheets per pass (standard office paper)
• Feed: single slot for paper and similar thin media
• Waste container: integrated bin for shredded material
• Intended use: home and small office environments

How to use

Place the shredder on a flat, stable surface and align the feed slot with the paper to be shredded. Insert up to the recommended number of sheets in a single pass and feed them into the slot until the unit engages and performs the cross-cut shredding. Periodically check and empty the waste bin to prevent overflow and maintain optimal performance. Follow any safety indicators or simple controls on the unit for reverse or stop functions if a jam occurs.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid inserting stapled or heavily creased stacks beyond the specified sheet capacity and remove staples or paper clips when possible. Empty the waste bin before it becomes completely full to prevent feed issues. Keep the shredder away from moisture and out of reach of children. For mixed materials, confirm that the media is compatible with cross-cut shredding to avoid damage.
