Silppuri HSM Securio AF100

The HSM Securio AF100 is a compact paper shredder designed for secure document disposal with particle-cut shredding and a 225 mm working width. It offers a shredding size of 4 x 25 mm, accepts paper, credit cards and CDs, and combines an automatic stack-fed mode with the option to feed sheets manually for flexible processing. Built with hardened steel cutting rollers and a Nanogrip intake and transport system, the unit is intended for reliable, low-noise operation and can be emptied easily via a removable top with an inspection window to monitor fill level.

Advantages

Hardened steel cutting rollers come with a lifetime warranty and cope with staples and paper clips to ensure long service life. The autofeed mechanism with Nanogrip Technology reliably pulls sheets from the stack, while overload protection reduces jams and maintains throughput. The device operates quietly (approximately 60 dB) and consumes no power in standby. The combination of automatic stack processing and the ability to manually feed paper provides flexibility for varying workloads. A removable housing top with a recessed grip simplifies emptying the waste container.

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and connect it to a suitable power supply. For autofeed operation, place a stack of paper into the intake tray; the Nanogrip intake rollers will draw sheets in automatically. You may also feed individual sheets manually at any time. The device starts automatically when paper is fed and stops automatically when shredding is complete. For mixed media, feed credit cards and CDs according to the manufacturer’s guidance. If overload protection activates, remove excess sheets and resume feeding once the unit is clear.

Recommendations

For continuous, trouble-free operation, avoid overfilling the intake tray, remove staples or clips only when necessary (cutters tolerate them), and periodically check the inspection window to monitor waste fill level; follow the manufacturer’s instructions for shredding non-paper media.
