SILVERSTONE rack-kotelo RM53-502 — 19 tuuman palvelinrack-kotelo, musta

The SILVERSTONE RM53-502 is a 2U rack-mount server case in black, designed for installation in standard 19" rack systems. It provides a low-profile enclosure suitable for server or storage builds where rack space efficiency is required. The chassis supports installation of standard rack-mounted components and internal mounting for motherboards, drives and expansion cards, making it appropriate for compact data center, small server room or network appliance deployments.

Advantages

The chassis combines a 2U height with a 19" compatible form factor to maximise usable rack density while maintaining easy front access. Its black finish and standardized rack mounting make integration into existing racks straightforward. Inside, the layout is organised to accommodate common server hardware, allowing for efficient airflow, cable routing and secure mounting of drives and expansion cards. The minimal front profile reduces visual clutter in multi-unit racks and helps maintain a consistent equipment appearance.

Suitable for

• Compact rack servers for small business or branch offices
• Network appliances such as firewalls, routers or VPN gateways
• Storage appliances and entry-level NAS builds
• Lab or test bench servers where low-profile rack mount is required

Key specifications

• Form factor: 2U rack-mount chassis compatible with 19" racks
• Colour: black exterior finish
• Internal layout: supports standard server motherboards and expansion cards
• Drive support: internal mounting locations for multiple storage drives (SATA/SAS drives, depending on backplane or cage configuration)
• Cooling considerations: supports front-to-rear airflow and standard server fans (fan count and sizes depend on configuration)
• Front access: low-profile front panel suitable for dense rack deployments

How to use

Install the RM53-502 into a standard 19" rack using appropriate rack screws and rails or mounting brackets. Fit the motherboard and expansion cards according to the chassis standoffs and PCIe slot openings, and install storage drives into the available internal mounting locations or drive cages. Connect power supplies and route cables to maintain unobstructed airflow. Ensure any fans or cooling components are oriented for front-to-rear airflow to align with typical rack cooling strategies.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this chassis in a properly ventilated rack with adequate airflow and temperature control. Select power supplies and cooling fans compatible with the chassis mounting points, and verify component clearance for CPU coolers and expansion cards before final assembly.
