Sisä-/ulkokaapeli Digitus A/I-DQ (ZN) BH 50/125 µ OM3 48 kuitua

The Digitus Installation Cable Indoor/Outdoor A/I-DQ (ZN) BH 50/125 µ OM3 is a 48-fiber loose tube cable designed for both indoor and outdoor network installations. It uses OM3 multimode fibres (50/125 µm) in a central loose tube, with LSZH outer sheathing and CPR class Dca. The cable includes non-metallic rodent protection and is built for reliable optical transmission and physical durability. Manufacturing follows ISO 9001 quality controls and materials comply with REACh and RoHS.

Advantages

This loose tube construction combines high tensile strength and flexibility in a compact diameter, enabling ease of installation in varied environments. OM3 50/125 µ multimode fibres provide suitable bandwidth for high-speed data transmission. The LSZH outer jacket and CPR Dca rating reduce smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, while non-metallic rodent protection preserves the cable without adding conductive elements. The product family undergoes initial and periodic qualification testing to ensure field performance and long-term reliability.

Suitable for

• Indoor backbone and riser installations
• Outdoor duct and direct-burial routes where non-metallic protection is required
• Campus and data centre links requiring OM3 multimode performance
• Environments where LSZH materials and CPR Dca compliance are needed

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM3 multimode, 50/125 µm
• Number of fibers: 48 (central loose tube)
• Sheath: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• CPR classification: Dca
• Rodent protection: non-metallic
• Standards & compliance: ISO 9001 manufacturing controls; REACh and RoHS compliant materials
• Brand / MPN / EAN: DIGITUS / DK-35482/3-U / 4016032452287

How to use

Install the cable following standard fibre-optic installation practices: route the cable through ducts or trays, avoid tight bends and excessive tensile loads, and secure with appropriate clamps or ties that do not compress the sheath. For fibre termination, prepare and terminate fibres using suitable connectors and polishing procedures for OM3 multimode. When transitioning between indoor and outdoor sections, ensure proper sealing and strain relief at entry points to maintain LSZH integrity and environmental protection.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, clean environment; maintain the manufacturer’s specified minimum bend radius and maximum tensile load during installation. Use certified splicing and testing equipment to verify attenuation and continuity after installation, and follow local regulations for CPR-marked cables.
